A HUGE congratulations to the A.C. Davis Jazz 1 who travelled to the Mead Jazz Festival on Saturday. This was the first time the jazz band has attended this festival.
Their initial goal was to make finals (which only 3 groups per division are selected for) against a highly competitive slate of high schools. However, not only did they make finals but they WON the AAAA Division their first time out! This is the biggest accomplishment our jazz program has made in recent memory and is a due to the hard work and dedication of the students in Jazz 1!
