We are super excited to announce that the A.C. Davis Wind Ensemble has been selected to perform at a Concert Hour for the Washington Music Educators Association State Conference in Yakima, WA in February 2024!
What is even more amazing is that two of our middle schools have also been selected to perform concert hours as well.

- Washington Middle School Honors Band – Martin Obrero
This is a huge achievement for our YSD Students. It is a huge honor to audition and be selected for these sessions at the state conference. These concert hour performances are meant to both showcase and inform teachers all over the state what a fantastic band at each level should look and sound like. This means our students are serving as a positive example for the entire state!
To have one group from a district selected is a huge honor, to have three in one year is a noteworthy accomplishment!
